The crackling of lightening sounded in the walls, first quietly, and then the sound grew deafening and the room lit up. The white light arcing about spiraling in the room toward the center.
The deafening crashes seemed to be of no concern to the creature at the center of the ruckus, he seemed only vaguely aware of the goings on his blue eyes glazed over. He swayed as the sounds began to die down, and light began to fade, the residual arcs of white lightening moving back into the walls and the floor.
His vision was blurred, he couldn't quite make out the room in any familiar manner. His body lurched forward and he gave a great heave trying to find enough air in this place to breathe, he'd just been outside hadn't he? right? The white clad figure dropped to his knees his head spinning. He wore heavy white robes trimmed with red triangles, and his thick silvery dreads spilled out of it's large hood, and his staff clattered to the ground beside him. the bells about it's shaft jingling as they hit the stone floor.
The figure remained knelt their attempting to collect himself.

(Just so you have a slight image of of what tragedy looks like.... images.google.ca/images?q=judgemaster&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi ^_^Tragedy closely resembles the first and the sixth pictures. ) The mysterious Judge, clad in an elaborate black armor with a beautiful black and purple cape, approached Djose temple. It's design was something he'd never seen. Giant rocks floating with the help of a strong electrical current. The temple itself was built into the side of the mountain. He smiled from beneath his armored face. He was going to have fun exploring the newly restored parts of the world. He'd heard the legends that Gaia was once more than just those few continents that he'd grown up to know. It was exciting, with the return of the different parts of the world, he would get to explore the world again. His airship sensors had picked up on an extremely strange reading that came from within this strange temple. A reading that he picked up when the worlds began to return. He figured he should investigate. However, upon his arrival, he wasn't greeted with open arms, as he tried to enter the door the robed people said lead to the Cloister of Trials. It mattered not what these people told him, the Judges were the law of the land, even if the law hadn't reached these places yet. The Judge walked up to the entrance of the Cloister of Trials, two robed men approached. "HALT, you cannot enter the Cloister. Only Summoners may enter." He grinned and turned around to face the robed men. Only summoners? Blasphemy. There was nowhere a Judge was not allowed to go, especially a Judge of his caliber. He gave a low laugh, with seemingly echoed out of his closed off helm. "You seem to misunderstand. I am a Judge, therefore, I can go wherever I please." One of the men stepped forward. "Would you defy the teaching of Yevon?!" Again, he laughed. "This 'Yevon' holds no power over me what-so-ever. Now, if you would leave me be, I have important business to attend to." He began to turn away. Both men reached into their robes and pulled out rifles. They aimed up at the Judge. "Last warning, leave this temple and we can remain peaceful." The Judge stopped in his tracks. "I don't normally resort to this..." He rose his hand into the air, a golden glow about him. A golden clock appeared above his head, ticking at a normal pace, however, within seconds, it was ticking at an intense pace. Slowly, he turned to face the people on the floor below him and leaped off the stairs with intense speed, landing behind them. "I am Lord Tragedy, Judgemaster of the Realms. Judges are the law, and you'd do well to remember that." He grabbed both of their heads, smashing them together knocking them both into unconsciousness. The people who were around backed away, fearful of this man's power. He dispelled the golden power that gave him this awesome speed and began to return to the doors to the Cloister. Before he entered, he turned to face the everyone below, the had all been gathered around the unconscious men, a couple were glaring at the Judge. "A new time has risen and the worlds have become one again. I am terribly sorry that I had to resort to that, however, this needs to be done." He snapped his fingers and many lower ranked Judges, just as heavily armored as Tragedy, entered, bearing elaborate weapons. Two ran past Tragedy, guarding the entrance to the Cloister. "These Judges will bring no harm to you unless need be." He turned and began to enter the Cloister, stopping for just a moment. "And not to worry, we will leave once my investigation ends. Despaire, Misery. Come." Two more Judges ran up the stairs, following Tragedy. (( How's that for an epic post. ))

Dakken Carefully pulled himself to his feet, still looking dazed and confused as the room before him came into focus. He looked about him, up, then down, No sky, no earth. He stepped forward, he'd been with Voltaire, just as it had happened. His heart was in his throat, he looked around in a panic, "Voltaire?!" He called out to the empty stone corridors. He stepped forward fear written in his eyes, where had his lover gone? Was he dead? Dakken called out again, to no avail. The voice of his lover nonexistent in the halls of this temple. He didn't appear to be trapped, as his eyes fell on the doorway before him leading into the vast maze, however, Dakken was cautious, for what kind of trickery is this? It began quietly, the crackle of thunder whispering into his mind, and another sound, he looked around. Nothing, No one, The whispers were not unlike the windsends of his gods, sounds that only his ears could hear.

It wasn't until Tragedy was within the halls of the Cloister that his ears picked up the distinct sounds of singing. It was a peaceful, yet powerful sound that echoed in the halls. Everything about this place grabbed his attention. Everything was electrified, the elaborate design, the strange, large puzzles that was big enough to take up two rooms. This puzzle was an odd one. It comprised of picking up strange glowing sphere. He found three different kinds, and there was multiple of a certain kind. These ones seemed to have the same electrical power that surged through the rooms and were crucial to the completion of the puzzles. However, one of the single ones made the competion possible by placing it in a specific place. The final, he found, was a strange dark one, and when used right would destroy a portion of the wall, revealing a treasure, in this case, a different kind of sphere. He found it had no use here, so he took it with him for further investigations. Perhaps it could be a piece of Magicite.
Finally, after the completion of the temple, he noticed a door opened up revealing a rising platform. Nodding to Despair and Misery, they stepped on the platform, being risen up to the room above.

Dakken's back would be too him as the elevator would lead them too him. The silver haired man leaned down wrapping his slender fingers around his staff, he was lost as all sin. He adjusted his red triangle trimmed hood trying to push his hair back in. He needed to be official, to do this right. Though as much as he was trying to bolster the strength to figure things out, He couldn't. His body was visibly trembling and thus, the bells jingled quite loudly. Not loud enough, that he could not hear the sound of the creature speaking to him.

The platform stopped upon reaching the top. He had noticed the man in White Mage's garments and the open door. His two companions took a step forward, but Tragedy held up an arm, signaling them to stop. He wanted to see where this was going, and it was apparent the the White Mage hadn't noticed him, allowing this to happen.

Dakken took a few steps forward unsure of what to do about this open door. It had opened for him just as the whispers had begun. It was ornate and almost seemed to have petals guarding either side of it. He had to muster up the courage, and soon, there to him only appear to be one way out.

Tragedy peered through the tiny eye holes of his helm. What is this place? This places had him curious as to what it was intended for.

He took a deep breath, He had no choice, he must move forward. He took a few steps forward his staff jingling with his movements. The whisper grew louder, he nodded slowly moving toward the door. His stride faultering out of fear, but not stopping as he approached the petal framed door. Whatever lie beyond the door, was what the fates had deemed worthy. He must do as given to him.
He brushed through the petals about the door. which proceeded to shut behind him. He was surprised to see, that the room had well, no exit. Fearing the worst he turned back to the shut door. Then he heard it, the whispers, though, they weren't in his head this time. He spun around once more to gaze upon, what appeared to him to be some kind of ghoul, or ghost perhaps. Though he did not recoil, or flinch, he felt no ill will from the form before him. So he bowed ever so polietly to the translucent form before him, and it bowed in return.
Slowly it began to speak, first congratulating him for beginning his pilgrimage, confusion flash across Dakken's eyes momentarily, but, he quickly buried it, listening intently to the creature before him. Time passed and slowly he was finding it hard to breath let alone listen to the figure who had identified itself as the Fayth of Ixion. The air grew thick and heavy within the room, and soon it lit up with arcs of white and blue lightening, spiraling from the roof down to the floors in the walls of the cylindrical room. He dropped too his knees a moment, eyes to the floor before pushing himself back to his feet, feeling more and more exhausted as time passed in the small room. He would obtain that which the Fayth had called an Aeon, via the Fayth himself. It seemed like so long before the sounds and the light died down. He stumbled backwards. taking in a deep breath, his body giving a startled jerk as her watched lightening arc softly around one of the bells on the shaft of his staff.
He could hear it still, the sound he heard before, however he understood it now. the whispers of the Aeon, one of the Gods creatures. He knew now, it would aid him in stopping 'sin' whatever that happened too be. He stared at the now darkened almost glass bubble in the center of the room. He didn't need to know a whole lot more, only that 'Spira' and it's people were in danger and he could help. Slowly he turned about and stepped toward the door which opened for him, and he brushed by the petals once more, stumbling out into the presence of the Judges.

As the petals closed Tragedy took a couple of quick steps forward, not sure if he should follow. He watched and listened. The hymn grew louder. After a moment of waiting he turned to face the two Judges that stood there with him. "We'll wait until he comes out."
Misery nodded. Looking around, she walked up to the petals, touching them gently. "This place is so beautiful... Why have we never seen anything like this in Faythen?"
Despaire leaned against the wall, crossing his arms. "This place hasn't been in this world for a thousand years. Things are probably going to be a bit different than we would expect."
Tragedy simply stood and observed. He wanted to know what was beyond the door. Perhaps he would get the chance if the man made if back through the door. Until then, he would wait for a while.
After a bit, the petals began to move, startling Misery. She jumped back a few feet and moved to the side, her propped on her sword.
Tragedy watched the man stumble forward. He looked worn out, what could he have done in there?

The silver haired man leaned heavily on his staff, but was quickly startled by the Judges in his presence. His hand was wrapped so tightly around his staff it became a near blinding shade of white.
He shuffled to the opposite side of the door, and it shut behind him. He made his best effort to distance himself from the fighters before him, he knew if they could reach him it would mean almost instant death in a fight.

Tragedy stepped towards the man with the staff, observing him briefly. "I am Judgemaster Tragedy of the Faythen Empire. My squad of Judges and I are investigating these new lands under the orders of Emperor Waik Faythen. We mean you no harm."
Misery walked up to the man, offering her hand to him. "You look tired. Might we be able to help you make it out of this temple?"

"The which Empire?" he asked confusion flitting over his soft features. He paused a moment forcing a weary smile, "I'm not even sure how I got in here, much less how to get out, so, that would be most helpful, you have my most humble gratitude Honorable ones." He shuffled forward but the door did not open again. Carefully he placed a slender hand into Misery's shaking it briefly before carefully moving to withdraw it.

The woman eyed Dakken suspiciously, drawing her blade and swiftly resting it's blade on his neck. She stared into his eyes, her green orbs weren't of malice, however, they were of duty. "Another one. The last one we found one like this, he tried to kill us in our sleep." She scowled. "Lord Nightshade, I believe we should contain him before he regains his strength."
Tragedy shook his head. "Nay, look at him. He is weakened and can barely support himself. We will let him rest in a guarded quarters for a night and question him in the morning." He turned and took a few steps towards the White Mage. "State you name."
